About the Role:
A primary school in Liverpool seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to implement behaviour management strategies for a small group of Year 3 pupils. This is a temporary position initially, potentially extending depending on need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead behaviour management programmes for a small group of pupils across two Year 3 classes.
- Develop and deliver adapted learning sessions tailored to the pupils’ needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to support positive interaction with the class as a whole.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to pupils in managing their behaviour and emotions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Level 3 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Proven experience (at least 6 months) in a Primary school environment within the last 2 years.
- Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour and support children in understanding their frustrations.
- Knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, nurturing, and diplomatic approach.
