About the Role:

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust seeks a skilled Principal Information Analyst to understand, investigate, and analyze data from various sources. This role will involve communicating complex analytical findings to diverse audiences effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and utilize descriptive and analytical statistical techniques.
  • Support the development and implementation of waiting list reduction strategies.
  • Provide key support to transformation programs.
  • Lead on contracting and planning for the Trust.
  • Support statuary, regular, and performance reporting and returns, championing data quality and accuracy.
  • Provide information to support the Trust’s Quality & Performance Agenda.
  • Manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Manage a team of Analysts.
  • Influence managers and clinicians with data insights and visualizations.
  • Conduct data modelling and forecasting for capacity and demand.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience as an NHS Information Analyst.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, T-SQL, Power BI, and SSRS.
  • Advanced numeric skills.
  • Strong analytical and statistical techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with DAX (desired).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
