About the Role:
This exciting opportunity within our growing procurement department offers a unique chance to provide expert procurement and commercial advice to colleagues across the organisation. Were looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to play a vital role in delivering the business’s needs with a focus on risk management and value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide procurement and commercial advice to colleagues.
- Manage the entire procurement process.
- Deliver strategic and impactful contracts.
- Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of procurement legislation and contract conditions.
- Support and inspire team members.
Skills and Expertise:
- Significant end-to-end procurement experience (Operational and Civil Engineering, Corporate Services, IT, or Digital Project Delivery).
- Proven ability to manage contracts.
- Strong knowledge of procurement legislation and various contract types.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- CIPS qualification (or pursuing).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
