About the Role:
Mller Bridgwater Dairy seeks a dedicated Production Operative to join our Bottle Supply team. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality product output within our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure packaged product meets specifications, reporting defects to appropriate personnel.
- Verify packaging film quality and adherence to specifications.
- Ensure proper product wrapping and immediate reporting of any faults.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Report any maintenance or fixing requirements to the relevant team member.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Report any health and safety concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, quality, hygiene and food safety policies.
- Perform additional duties as required to maintain packaging quality.
Skills and Expertise:
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in-house systems.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
