About the Role:

This part-time, fixed-term Project Officer position will oversee and monitor a UKRI-funded project focused on improving net zero practices in livestock and grassland management, collaborating with various academic institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the project’s delivery through project oversight and monitoring of key targets.
  • Compile comprehensive project reports detailing financial spend, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) impact, and assessments.
  • Provide high-level support to multiple project activities simultaneously.
  • Effectively interact with academics and partners across different organizations, acting as a key contact.
  • Represent the University with integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Manage and effectively multitask in a demanding and varied role.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong organizational and proactive skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work inclusively within a team.
  • Experience in project management and monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience compiling reports with quantitative data (Financial Spend, EDI, Impact).
