About the Role:
This part-time, fixed-term Project Officer position will oversee and monitor a UKRI-funded project focused on improving net zero practices in livestock and grassland management, collaborating with various academic institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project’s delivery through project oversight and monitoring of key targets.
- Compile comprehensive project reports detailing financial spend, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) impact, and assessments.
- Provide high-level support to multiple project activities simultaneously.
- Effectively interact with academics and partners across different organizations, acting as a key contact.
- Represent the University with integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Manage and effectively multitask in a demanding and varied role.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong organizational and proactive skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work inclusively within a team.
- Experience in project management and monitoring.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Experience compiling reports with quantitative data (Financial Spend, EDI, Impact).
