About the Role:
Lead the development of Glasgow’s property portfolio, overseeing improvements, refurbishments, repurposing, and new builds. This crucial role requires a strategic approach to project management and staff leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage professional and technical staff for efficient project delivery within budget and timescale.
- Manage the Capital Plan.
- Deliver capital projects to enhance the existing portfolio, adhering to budget and schedule.
- Conduct due diligence on related investments.
- Assemble and manage project teams for collaborative work.
- Identify opportunities for redevelopment, repurposing, and portfolio rationalisation.
- Procure and manage supply chains.
- Manage project resources, programming, and cost control.
- Manage project team performance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (CDM duties, HASWA, Equality Act 2010, Asbestos and Legionella).
- Prepare and deliver reports with professional advice and recommendations to the Board, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure Health and Safety and risk management procedures are followed.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Operational staff management experience.
- Membership of industry body (desirable).
- Chartered status (desirable).
- Experience in surveying or architecture (desirable).
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Salary of 52k-59k (DOE)
- All sites within Glasgow/Greater Glasgow
- Generous Hybrid Working agreement
- 35 Hours Per Week
- 38.5 Days Total Annual Leave (inc. Bank Hols)
