About the Role:
Serco’s Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) is seeking a passionate and driven Property Sourcer to join their expanding team. This crucial role will identify and secure suitable properties to support vulnerable asylum seekers, playing a vital role in providing essential accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively search for suitable properties in targeted areas through local estate agents.
- Liaise and negotiate with landlords, agents, and investors to secure properties aligned with Serco standards.
- Manage properties through the pipeline, ensuring they meet all necessary criteria for occupation.
- Build strong relationships with property providers and maintain relevant networks.
- Identify prospect properties and establish and maintain landlord, investor, and agent networks.
- Complete and check necessary property paperwork, including EPCs, proof of ownership, planning permissions, and more.
- Work with local agents, landlords, and investors to promote the Serco Lease and Serco Property Standards.
Skills and Expertise:
- Extensive experience in the sales and/or property sector.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Commercial and business awareness.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in managing multiple property transactions simultaneously.
- Valid UK driving licence (for travel to events).
