About the Role:

Serco’s Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) is seeking a passionate and driven Property Sourcer to join their expanding team. This crucial role will identify and secure suitable properties to support vulnerable asylum seekers, playing a vital role in providing essential accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively search for suitable properties in targeted areas through local estate agents.
  • Liaise and negotiate with landlords, agents, and investors to secure properties aligned with Serco standards.
  • Manage properties through the pipeline, ensuring they meet all necessary criteria for occupation.
  • Build strong relationships with property providers and maintain relevant networks.
  • Identify prospect properties and establish and maintain landlord, investor, and agent networks.
  • Complete and check necessary property paperwork, including EPCs, proof of ownership, planning permissions, and more.
  • Work with local agents, landlords, and investors to promote the Serco Lease and Serco Property Standards.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in the sales and/or property sector.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple property transactions simultaneously.
  • Valid UK driving licence (for travel to events).
