About the Role:
A rapidly growing business in Woking, Surrey is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team in January 2025. This role involves processing high volumes of invoices and expense claims, delivering results under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices onto Sage (approximately 500 per week).
- Process employee expenses (approximately 80-100 per week).
- Manage email inbox and respond to queries (approximately 300 per day).
- Prepare invoices for payment and allocate supplier payments.
- Reconcile direct debit accounts and individual supplier accounts.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven track record in a high-volume accounts payable role.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in accounting software, with intermediate/advanced Excel knowledge (lookups and pivot tables).
- Availability to start in January 2025 and commitment to an ongoing temporary assignment.
