About the Role:

As a Receptionist at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central, you’ll provide exceptional guest experiences, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs. Your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will be key to achieving positive outcomes from guest queries and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reception services for Guests, contributing to an exceptional experience.
  • Assist with and complete audits as required.
  • Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries efficiently.
  • Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in/out and audits.
  • Keep Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors informed of relevant guest feedback.
  • Demonstrate high-level customer service skills.
  • Attend training courses and contribute to team training and development.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and product knowledge.
  • Maximize room occupancy and upsell hotel services/facilities.
  • Handle foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash according to hotel policy.
  • Adhere to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
  • Comply with policies and procedures regarding front-of-house equipment and property management systems.
  • Follow company brand standards.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
