About the Role:
As a Receptionist at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central, you’ll provide exceptional guest experiences, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs. Your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will be key to achieving positive outcomes from guest queries and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide reception services for Guests, contributing to an exceptional experience.
- Assist with and complete audits as required.
- Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries efficiently.
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in/out and audits.
- Keep Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors informed of relevant guest feedback.
- Demonstrate high-level customer service skills.
- Attend training courses and contribute to team training and development.
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and product knowledge.
- Maximize room occupancy and upsell hotel services/facilities.
- Handle foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash according to hotel policy.
- Adhere to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Comply with policies and procedures regarding front-of-house equipment and property management systems.
- Follow company brand standards.
- Assist other departments as needed.
