About the Role:
Are you a talented Refrigeration Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in Scotland? As a Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems across various sites in the Central Belt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within agreed timescales, ensuring accurate paperwork.
- Respond promptly to service call requests, assessing requirements and carrying out repairs.
- Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet agreed timescales and response times.
- Order spares according to established procedures.
- Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line manager with recommendations for replacement.
- Ensure compliance documentation is up-to-date.
- Conduct surveys and complete reports as required.
- Carry out minor alterations and installations within technical competence.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer, preferably in a commercial setting.
- F-GAS certification.
- Relevant refrigeration qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds or equivalent).
- Knowledge of various refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
