About the Role:

Helping Hands Home Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Care Manager to lead the launch of our new branch in Rochdale. This crucial role will be responsible for building a high-quality care service, from day one, and ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and adherence to CQC/CIW guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the launch and growth of the new branch, ensuring it quickly becomes efficient, profitable, and known for delivering the highest standard of care.
  • Hold the CQC/CIW registration for the branch and ensure that it operates within CQC/CIW guidelines.
  • Develop, grow and inspire a team of dedicated carers by actively recruiting new team members and guiding them through the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Build strong relationships within the local community to promote the branch and identify new business opportunities to support its growth.
  • Support branch staff and carers with training and development to uphold exceptional service standards.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Level 5 NVQ in Management in care (or willingness to work towards achieving this)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice in line with CQC/CIW guidance
  • Experience working within the care sector at management level
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to grow a successful business
  • Community focus and strong external relationship building skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
