About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current UK PIN number to deliver exceptional care at Thistle House in Dundee. This role involves working 42 hours a week, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
  • Develop the service, audit, and improve quality in collaboration with management.
  • Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing practice.
  • Maintain individual care plans, collaborating with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medicines adhering to healthcare procedures and guidelines.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experienced RMN/RNLD with a current PIN number.
  • Excellent understanding of current nursing practices.
  • Commitment to patient recovery, risk monitoring, and management.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and dedicated to empowering service users.
  • Ability to maintain documentation, conduct audits, and demonstrate integrity.
  • (Desirable) Ability to deputize in a clinical lead role.
  • (Desirable) Interest in leadership, research, and assessment.
