About the Role:
Lead our residential service in Folkestone, supporting six adults with moderate learning disabilities. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for our residents and fostering their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the service.
- Develop and implement person-centred support plans.
- Conduct care needs assessments.
- Recruit and induct new colleagues.
- Conduct supervisions/appraisals.
- Complete medication competencies and audits.
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Complete quarterly audits and reports.
- Manage the service’s P&L effectively.
- Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met.
- Adhere to policies and procedures.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
Skills and Expertise:
- CQC registered manager experience in care management.
- Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration.
- Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and moderate learning disabilities.
