About the Role:
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Manager seeking a rewarding role in a children’s care setting in Maidstone, Kent? This exciting opportunity involves managing all aspects of a care home, ensuring children receive excellent care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of running the care home, including emotional and physical care, activities, and accommodation.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning.
- Deploy resources effectively, providing induction, supervision, and appraisal to support staff development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (child protection, health & safety, finance, control, and administration).
- Promote effective team working and development.
Skills and Expertise:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Childcare (minimum), with commitment to Level 5.
- Successful background as a Registered Manager in a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ rated home.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
