About the Role:

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) on Hooper Ward, providing acute mental health care to women. This role offers a unique opportunity for skill development across various specialities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop therapeutic relationships with service users and carers, motivating recovery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver safe and effective care.
  • Apply skilled interventions based on assessed needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and care plans.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current PIN number.
  • Excellent documentation and audit skills.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and current nursing practices.
  • Commitment to patient recovery, risk management, and promoting independence.
  • Compassion, resilience, and dedication to supporting service users.
  • Desirable: Clinical leadership experience, interest in DBT, and ward-specific experience (e.g., Personality Disorder).

Job Facilities/Benefits:
