Key Responsibilities:
- Manage medications safely and effectively, including ordering, stock control, dispensing, administration, and monitoring.
- Create and update care plans and risk assessments in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Monitor resident health and escalate concerns appropriately to maintain a holistic approach.
- Assist with daily living activities, ensuring compliance with care plans and risk assessments.
- Provide compassionate care to residents and their families, demonstrating a person-centred approach.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
- Lead and manage teams to ensure safe and effective delivery of care.
- Communicate effectively at all levels, maintaining clear and transparent communication.
- Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and contemporaneous documentation standards.
Skills and Expertise:
- Valid NMC registration.
- 6+ months post-qualification experience in a care or residential home setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant care policies and procedures.
- Experience with medication management and patient care.
