About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide kind and compassionate care to residents.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families.
- Practice nursing in a nurse-led environment.
- Develop complex decision-making and collaborative skills.
- Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Act as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Role model professional behaviours.
- Advocate for a person-centred approach to care.
- Identify and report potential abuse, harm, or neglect.
- Attend and complete safeguarding training.
- Seek appropriate advice and escalate concerns as necessary.
Skills and Expertise:
- Registered Nurse with a valid PIN number.
- Understanding of NMC standards of practice.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a care home environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
