About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) to work in a leading East Riding of Yorkshire hospital. Supporting patients with severe and enduring mental health conditions, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and complex behaviours, you will deliver exceptional person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct personal care and interventions to patients, coordinating care with colleagues.
  • Deliver high-quality, safe nursing care adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating person-centred care for both mental and physical needs.
  • Supervise junior staff and students.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, and accurate records.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with an active NMC Pin
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
  • Patient-centric approach and commitment to high-quality care
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility and a proactive “can-do” attitude
