Key Responsibilities:
- Provide kind care and support to residents in a nurse-led environment.
- Develop complex decision-making and collaborative skills.
- Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, acting as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
- Advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care.
- Recognise and report signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to NMC standards of practice.
- Maintain effective communication, both verbally and in writing.
Skills and Expertise:
- Valid NMC PIN number.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a care home environment (preferred).
- Passion for mentoring and professional development.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and protocols.
