About the Role:
Babcock is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Requirements and Database Manager to support the Major Infrastructure Projects (MIP) Business Unit at Devonport Royal Dockyard. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of engineering databases to support the future MOD ship and submarine programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Engineering Databases.
- Update internal Common Data Environments (CDE) such as CDMS and SharePoint.
- Support Senior Managers with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Skills and Expertise:
- Working knowledge of IBM DOORS database and understanding of system engineering (training provided).
- Experience with daily administration to enable smooth engineering team operations.
- Experience in using CDE.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong desire to learn new processes and integrate into the User Acceptance Group (UAG) team.
