About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and inspiring Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our established team in Lancashire. This casual role offers flexible hours, working in our family-feel children’s homes in Carnforth/rural North Lancaster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceeding National Standards for Childcare, as laid down by Ofsted, in your role as a Childcare Worker and Key Worker.
- Providing high-quality childcare to children residing in the home.
- Systematically improving the lives of young people in the home.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with families, friends, and other external parties as requested by the Registered Manager.
- Contributing to a culture of trust and mutual respect between staff and children.
Skills and Expertise:
- Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
- Over 21 years of age.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience working with children with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties is desirable.
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with children.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to de-escalate conflict situations.
- Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
