About the Role:

This exciting opportunity allows you to lead a team of resourcing advisors and be a key contributor to the UK’s trade success by attracting and retaining top talent. As Resourcing Operations Manager, you will manage recruitment operations, build team capabilities, and ensure high-quality resourcing services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the resourcing team, setting priorities and workload for UK recruitment and onboarding.
  • Develop and coach a team of 8-10 Resourcing Advisors, fostering a centre of excellence in resourcing and enhancing hiring manager capabilities.
  • Manage performance, implement development plans, and address performance concerns.
  • Manage shared mailboxes, trackers, and ensure prompt responses to stakeholders in line with SLAs.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to recruitment processes.
  • Analyze recruitment data to forecast workload and plan future strategies.
  • Adhere to Civil Service Commission’s Recruitment Principles, Civil Service Nationality Rules, and Right to Work legislation.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on process improvements and empowering hiring managers, working closely with Strategic Resourcing Partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, security, government recruitment services, and other government departments.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Expertise in recruitment operations and processes.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in building team capability and improving operational efficiency.
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret recruitment data.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems).
