About the Role:

This exciting opportunity within a dynamic international department contributes to UK trade success by attracting and retaining top talent. The Resourcing Hub, a Centre of Expertise in HR, delivers comprehensive recruitment and onboarding services to UK-based roles and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 8-10 Resourcing Advisors, setting priorities, creating plans, and managing workload for UK recruitment and onboarding.
  • Develop and coach the Resourcing Advisors to build hiring manager capability and ensure guidance is updated.
  • Manage team performance, including addressing poor performance and supporting development plans.
  • Manage shared mailboxes and trackers, delivering timely responses to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, acting as the first point of escalation for complaints.
  • Analyze recruitment data to forecast workload and plan for the future.
  • Ensure compliance with Civil Service Commission, Civil Service Nationality, and Right to Work regulations.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects with Strategic Resourcing Partners, focusing on process improvements and empowering hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, DBT Security, and other Government Departments.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Expert in compliance with employment regulations (e.g., UK employment law, Right to Work).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data analysis and forecasting skills.
  • Experience with HR systems and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
