About the Role:

This role leads a team of Resourcing Advisors within the Resourcing Hub, a Centre of Expertise in HR, providing vital recruitment and onboarding services for the UK government. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality resourcing services and ensuring the effective recruitment of top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Resourcing Operations team, setting priorities and managing workload for UK recruitment and onboarding.
  • Develop and coach a team of Resourcing Advisors to build capability and improve hiring manager skills, ensuring consistent guidance.
  • Manage the team’s mailboxes and trackers, providing first-line support to stakeholders and meeting service level agreements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, acting as a point of escalation for complaints and escalating concerns to senior management.
  • Analyze recruitment data to forecast workload and plan future activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Civil Service Commission Recruitment Principles, Civil Service Nationality Rules, and Right to Work legislation.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on process enhancements and empowering hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including other Resourcing Hub teams, HR Business Partners, and other Government departments.
