About the Role:
This crucial role within the Resourcing Hub, a centre of expertise in HR, involves leading a team of resourcing advisors to deliver high-quality recruitment services for UK roles and global hires. You will be responsible for building team capability and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Resourcing Operations team, setting priorities, and overseeing team workload for UK recruitment and onboarding.
- Develop and coach the resourcing team, fostering a centre of excellence while enhancing hiring manager skills and providing regular updates.
- Manage team mailboxes and trackers, ensuring timely responses to stakeholders within the agreed service level agreements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks proactively, handling complaints, and escalating issues to senior management where needed.
- Analyze recruitment data to forecast workload, plan future requirements, and improve resourcing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Civil Service Recruitment Principles, Nationality Rules, and Right to Work legislation.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, collaborating with strategic partners to enhance processes and empower hiring managers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, security teams, and other government departments, to achieve shared goals.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in leading and developing a team of resourcing advisors.
- Strong knowledge of resourcing best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., Civil Service).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using relevant HR and recruitment tools and software.
- Experience in managing mailboxes and trackers.
