About the Role:
This role seeks a driven Project Manager to lead the Risk and Finance Data Transformation project in Edinburgh. The role will deliver key objectives on time and budget, ensuring high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the multi-year roadmap and execution plans for Risk and Finance Data Transformation aligned with the business case.
- Prepare, analyze, and report on project plans, controls, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with wider program plans.
- Prepare and engage stakeholders effectively to facilitate the successful implementation and handover of changes.
- Lead a project team through the project lifecycle, setting objectives and assessing individual contributions.
- Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and levels.
- Identify, track, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Define and produce a comprehensive project initiation document aligned with strategic goals.
- Analyze relevant information and prepare estimates for approval.
- Support the creation of a financial business case.
- Track and report on project costs to ensure budget adherence.
- Guarantee all project deliverables meet requirements and adhere to the governance framework.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in risk reporting, identifying simplification opportunities related to data flows.
- Project management qualification.
- Experience in change management.
- Experience delivering strategic projects, ideally data-related, supporting business growth.
- Collaborative approach and strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders, colleagues, and senior managers.
- Experience managing investments of approximately 2 million or more.
- Experience in applications and systems delivery.
- Knowledge of flexible working environments and strategies.
