About the Role:

This role seeks a driven Project Manager to lead the Risk and Finance Data Transformation project in Edinburgh. The role will deliver key objectives on time and budget, ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the multi-year roadmap and execution plans for Risk and Finance Data Transformation aligned with the business case.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on project plans, controls, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with wider program plans.
  • Prepare and engage stakeholders effectively to facilitate the successful implementation and handover of changes.
  • Lead a project team through the project lifecycle, setting objectives and assessing individual contributions.
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and levels.
  • Identify, track, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Define and produce a comprehensive project initiation document aligned with strategic goals.
  • Analyze relevant information and prepare estimates for approval.
  • Support the creation of a financial business case.
  • Track and report on project costs to ensure budget adherence.
  • Guarantee all project deliverables meet requirements and adhere to the governance framework.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience in risk reporting, identifying simplification opportunities related to data flows.
  • Project management qualification.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Experience delivering strategic projects, ideally data-related, supporting business growth.
  • Collaborative approach and strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders, colleagues, and senior managers.
  • Experience managing investments of approximately 2 million or more.
  • Experience in applications and systems delivery.
  • Knowledge of flexible working environments and strategies.
