About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Cygnet Hospital Beckton’s Upping Ward as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN). This Intensive Support Service role focuses on providing high-quality care for women with personality disorders and complex mental health needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in motivating service users towards recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop therapeutic relationships with service users and carers to encourage recovery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver safe and effective care.
  • Apply skilled interventions based on assessed needs.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date care plans and records.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current PIN number.
  • Strong understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices.
  • Excellent documentation and audit skills.
  • Commitment to patient recovery and risk management.
  • Compassionate and resilient approach.
  • Ability to empower service users to achieve independence.
  • (Desirable) Experience with personality disorder or DBT.
  • (Desirable) Clinical leadership experience and interest in research or assessment.
