About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our dynamic Tier 4 personality disorder service at New Dawn Ward. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop skills in various specialities, including DBT, within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop therapeutic relationships with service users and carers, motivating and supporting recovery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe and clinically effective care delivery.
  • Apply skilled interventions based on assessed needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive care plans and records for service users.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current PIN number.
  • Strong understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and current nursing practices.
  • Commitment to patient recovery and risk management.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and dedicated to empowering service user independence.
  • Knowledge of DBT techniques (desirable).
  • Experience working with patients with personality disorders (desirable).
  • Ability to maintain documentation and conduct audits (essential).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
