About the Role:
Exciting opportunity to join a Stoke-on-Trent school as a Science teacher from February half-term 2025 to July 2025, covering maternity leave. This full-time position focuses on supporting pupils to achieve exceptional results in a school with high behaviour expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Ensure all pupils receive the necessary support to achieve their full potential.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement school’s ambitious strategies.
Skills and Expertise:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching all three science elements at KS3 and KS4 (preferred, but not essential).
- Proven ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong understanding of KS3 and KS4 science curriculum.
- Classroom management experience.
