About the Role:
Protect customer assets and maintain site security in Clacton on Sea, adhering to assigned site instructions and customer requirements. Achieve or exceed KPIs and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with security policies, legal requirements, and UK legislation.
- Fully execute all tasks and duties outlined in site assignment instructions.
- Proactively review and adapt to changes in assignment instructions.
- Maintain compliance with industry and statutory regulations, including SIA licence.
- Comply with legal obligations and safety procedures.
- Follow instructions and procedures diligently.
- Work systematically and methodically.
- Complete required competency training.
- Use technology to enhance job knowledge and expertise through professional development.
- Renew security licence 16 weeks prior to expiry.
- Report health and safety hazards or potential hazards.
- Remain vigilant for threats or changes in the work environment.
- Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations.
- Document incidents accurately and promptly for reporting.
- Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to the client.
- Ensure check calls are performed according to the schedule.
- Contact emergency services and communication centre to report incidents.
Skills and Expertise:
- Previous security experience.
- Current SIA licence.
- CCTV PSS SIA Licence (required by client).
- Desired: SC Security Clearance.
