About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Mentor to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in Exeter. This full-time position offers the potential for a permanent role and the chance to positively impact young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both one-on-one and in groups, to enhance their academic, emotional, and social progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Manage student behavior and build confidence and relationships.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
Skills and Expertise:
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Passion for helping young people with SEN reach their full potential.
- Minimum 6 months availability.
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Salary: 90.00 – 95.00 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay).
