About the Role:
Prospero Teaching seeks a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide personalized support to pupils with challenging behaviours in a school near Bournemouth. This role offers the chance to make a real difference to children’s lives and create positive outcomes through strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred support to pupils with high levels of challenging behaviours associated with SEMH issues.
- Support children with Special Educational Needs and challenging behaviours in both one-to-one and group settings.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage positive outcomes.
Skills and Expertise:
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, training provided).
- Previous experience with Team Teach (desirable).
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (desirable).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or willingness to process a new application).
- Ability to provide two professional references.
