About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs (SEN) in a school near Chorley. This role focuses on providing individualized support and leading learning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small group and 1-1 learning activities.
- Manage student behaviour effectively.
- Prepare learning resources and learning areas.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience supporting children in a school setting.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (preferred, but training can be provided).
- Understanding of SEN support strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Competitive daily rate of 90, depending on experience.
- Full-time role (8:20am-3:20pm).
- Temporary position, starting 13/01/2025 and ongoing.
