About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and motivate children and young people to achieve academic goals, develop life skills and independence.
- Understand pupil motivations to engage learning opportunities.
- Create a safe, secure, and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Deliver planned guided work aligned with bespoke curriculum requirements.
- Support the class teacher in delivering the curriculum.
Skills and Expertise:
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for making a difference.
- Observational skills and appropriate responses to key triggers.
- Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
- SEN experience is advantageous, but not essential. An understanding of special educational needs and disabilities is beneficial.
