About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and provide exceptional care to residents in our Durham care home. This role is pivotal in ensuring residents’ well-being and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care.
- Support residents with personal care needs and daily activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
- Engage residents in activities that promote their physical and mental health.
Skills and Expertise:
- QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3)
- Passionate about caring for older adults.
- Proven experience in leading, coaching, and motivating teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with record-keeping and prioritization.
