About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant in a Barchester care home, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care and support to residents. You will supervise and mentor a team of Care Assistants, and assist the clinical team with medication, assessments, and care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and support to residents.
- Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants.
- Support the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews.
- Respect the dignity and preferences of residents.
- Maintain a welcoming and vibrant care environment.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
- Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to individualized care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
