About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to residents in our dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist care homes. You’ll be instrumental in planning and implementing care plans, ensuring residents’ dignity, security, and independence. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you’ll uphold high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement personalized care plans.
- Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining high standards.
- Assist residents with daily needs, including personal care, meals, and medication.
- Provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Assist Registered Nurses and Care Managers.
Skills and Expertise:
- Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Background in person-centered care planning.
- Knowledge of dementia care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Safeguarding awareness and reporting procedures.
