About the Role:
Hamberley is seeking a passionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Dorking Manor Care Home, providing exceptional care to residents. This role is focused on providing individualized, compassionate care and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality care and support to residents.
- Managing the care of a designated group of residents.
- Leading and motivating care team members.
- Ensuring resident safety and well-being.
- Administering medication (as trained).
- Assisting residents with daily tasks and personal care.
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Following care plans and procedures.
- Documenting resident care and progress.
- Participating in team meetings and care planning sessions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience as a Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of care procedures and regulations.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification (desirable).
- Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends.
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine caring nature.
