About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to provide high-quality care for residents in our care home. This role is critical to ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to the care team.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Coordinate with other care staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Administer medications as per care plan and regulations.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Care Assistant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of care regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- First Aid and/or Basic Life Support certification is desirable.
- Knowledge of dementia care or similar special needs care is a plus.
