About the Role:
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll provide person-centred care and support to residents. You’ll supervise and inspire a dedicated care team, and support the clinical team with medication, assessments, and care reviews. You’ll foster a warm and welcoming environment, respecting the dignity and preferences of each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents.
- Supervise and mentor junior care assistants.
- Assist with medication administration, assessments, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in a care setting (preferred)
