About the Role:

UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a highly motivated Senior Clinical Educator to develop and deliver a comprehensive undergraduate teaching program in paediatrics at University College London. This role combines clinical experience with educational leadership, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the training of future doctors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a paediatric undergraduate curriculum.
  • Create and manage educational resources and materials.
  • Deliver engaging teaching sessions to undergraduate MBBS students.
  • Train clinical teams in effective teaching methodologies.
  • Support Trust-wide undergraduate teaching initiatives.
  • Potentially contribute to postgraduate teaching opportunities.
  • Complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education at University College London.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong clinical experience in general paediatrics.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver engaging educational content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing teaching resources.
  • Knowledge of paediatric specialities including allergy, asthma, and infectious diseases.
  • Understanding of clinical research and quality improvement.
