About the Role:
Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service in Titchfield. This role will involve supporting individuals to gain independence in daily life and overseeing the daily operations of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting individuals to gain independence in daily life.
- Managing the day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
- Allocating shifts and booking training.
- Inducting new colleagues.
- Providing support with supervisions.
- Ordering medication.
- Ensuring individuals are supported to manage their finances.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Senior Support Worker.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, learning difficulties, mental health needs, and challenging behaviours (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
