This senior Veterinary Surgeon position is ideal for experienced professionals seeking a fulfilling role within a thriving, independent veterinary group in Nottinghamshire. The role offers a strong work-life balance with a full-time commitment of four days per week and a weekend rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary care across two client practices.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies.
  • Manage client care and build strong relationships.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and best practice guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Execute rota duties according to the scheduled timetables.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Veterinary Surgeon with significant time in clinical practice.
  • Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using digital radiography, ultrasound, dentistry equipment, and laboratory procedures.
  • Relevant veterinary qualifications and certifications.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Compliance with ethical conduct and animal welfare.
