About the Role:
This senior Veterinary Surgeon position is ideal for experienced professionals seeking a fulfilling role within a thriving, independent veterinary group in Nottinghamshire. The role offers a strong work-life balance with a full-time commitment of four days per week and a weekend rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care across two client practices.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies.
- Manage client care and build strong relationships.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and best practice guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Execute rota duties according to the scheduled timetables.
Skills and Expertise:
- Demonstrated experience as a Veterinary Surgeon with significant time in clinical practice.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using digital radiography, ultrasound, dentistry equipment, and laboratory procedures.
- Relevant veterinary qualifications and certifications.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Compliance with ethical conduct and animal welfare.
