About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Service Manager to lead a team supporting 16+ children and care leavers. This vital role focuses on motivating and developing staff to provide high-quality, needs-led care, empowering young people within the care system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a multi-functional team in daily operations.
- Ensure young people’s needs are central to the support process.
- Deliver personalized and high-quality support to young people.
- Work within a strengths-based, trauma-informed framework.
- Manage housing arrangements and collaborate with internal SHP Central teams.
- Maintain high service delivery standards.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience managing staff across multiple sites.
- Experience managing accommodation-based services.
- Knowledge of housing management and health & safety.
- Strong stakeholder relationship and community network building skills.
- Creative, analytical, trauma-informed approach.
- Experience in inspiring young people and staff development.
- Non-judgmental approach with complex needs young people.
- Strong team-working and interpersonal skills.
