About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team and contribute to the fabrication of precision components for the aerospace industry. This role involves working with various sheet metal materials to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal according to technical drawings.
- Fabricate components from aluminium and stainless steel.
- Stretch, shrink, and adjust sheet metal components.
- Use various tools to shape sheet metal over blocks/forms.
- Assemble and fit welded sheet metal components.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker.
- Knowledge of aluminium and stainless steel fabrication.
- Proficiency in using sheet metal working tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Day shift.
- Flexible working hours (option for a 4-day week).
- 37-hour working week.
- Overtime available at 1.5x.
