About the Role:

Join a leading Fit-Out and Refurbishment contractor with over 50 years of experience. This Site Manager role focuses on projects across London and the Home Counties, overseeing daily site operations for timely and high-quality completions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building regulations, and company procedures
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and site teams
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contracts managers, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed project records and reports
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control
  • Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, building regulations, and health and safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
  • Joinery/Carpentry background
  • SMSTS and First Aid certifications
  • Valid Driving Licence
