About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Sous Chef to join our exciting and busy Hertfordshire venue. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to a thriving kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage stock levels and place orders.
- Train and supervise junior staff.
- Ensure smooth and efficient workflow in the kitchen.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
