About the Role:
Shepherd Neame is seeking a highly motivated Sous Chef to join our team at Singleton Barn, a popular Ashford pub. This role will involve supporting the Head Chef, deputising when needed, and contributing to the development of the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence.
- Assist with the development and training of the kitchen team.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and service.
- Maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Experience in managing a kitchen team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
