About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Spanish Teacher to join our team in Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive curriculum, fostering student development, and creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum aligned with National Curriculum requirements and school policies.
- Facilitate, support, and monitor pupil progress and development.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment conducive to teaching and learning.
- Participate in curriculum development, course design, and materials review.
- Support and contribute to safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Direct and supervise Teaching Assistants.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and external agencies.
- Teach pupils according to their needs, including setting and marking assignments.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods tailored to student learning styles.
- Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, promoting good behaviour.
- Support the school’s inclusion policy and assist in teaching children with special needs.
- Adhere to school policies and promote the school’s ethos.
- Undertake other duties as required within the scope of the position.
Skills and Expertise:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching Spanish to varying age groups
- Deep understanding of the National Curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Knowledge of special needs education (desirable)
