About the Role:
Drive sales, product availability, and team development at a Scotmid Co-operative store. Lead, motivate, and develop team members to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate retail teams.
- Drive sales and improve product availability.
- Develop and implement strategies for team member training and development.
- Maintain high retail standards and customer service excellence.
- Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Apply performance management and succession planning.
- Potential responsibility for instore bakery, hot food, food-to-go, or Post Office services.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in retail management, ideally in food retail.
- Strong people management skills.
- Deep understanding and proven achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Passion for retail excellence, standards, and customer service.
- Ambition to drive team and store performance.
- Experience in performance management and succession planning.
